Silesian Park

Distance: 46 km

One Park, Many Possibilities.

There’s no other place in Poland quite like it! Spanning over 530 hectares, Silesian Park hosts over 3.5 million trees. It features the longest lowland cable car in Europe, the Silesian Zoological Garden with almost 3,000 animals from around the world, the largest amusement park in Silesia known as Legendia Silesian Funfair, and the open-to-the-public Silesian Stadium, where the Polish national team achieved great success.

While in Silesian Park, you’ll find yourself closest to the stars, thanks to the Silesian Planetarium, which, after thorough modernization, has become the only multimedia astronomical observatory in Central Europe! Is that all? Not at all… Silesian Park also houses the Museum “Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park in Chorzow“, where a real, traditional village with a mill, thatched houses, and typical village animals has been created. The rich gastronomic base with restaurants, ice cream parlours, and gardens where you can enjoy delicious food and quench your thirst completes the experience.

We assure you that everyone will find something unique for themselves in Silesian Park!
