Park in Pszczyna
Distance: 26.5 km
Pszczyna is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful cities in southern Poland. This extraordinary city has been attracting tourists for years, enchanting them with its picturesque scenery, unique atmosphere, and rich history dating back to the beginnings of the Piast dynasty in Poland. The main tourist attraction is the Castle Museum, housed in the former ducal castle, counted among the most magnificent palace-park complexes in the country.
The historic Pszczyna Park covers an area of 156 hectares and includes the Castle Park, Manor Park, and the Wild Promenade. In the Castle Park, amid the river’s meanders and rich old-growth trees and shrubs, historic small architecture objects are integrated (Ludwikówka manor, tea pavilion on an island, Chinese gate, ice cellar, shrines, and arched bridges). The Manor Park features an open-air museum – the Pszczyna Village Homestead, while a significant part of the Wild Promenade is occupied by a well-maintained golf course and the Bison Show Farm.
